Danielle J. Schivek is General Counsel at Arch Amenities Group, a Team of experts that was formed through the strategic acquisition of preeminent providers of hospitality and wellness-led amenity management entities. Their mission is to help maximize the potential of people and spaces through a full spectrum of amenity management and consulting services for commercial and residential properties including spas, fitness centers, meeting and event spaces, private clubs, communities, pools, and more.
Ms. Schivek has driven the successful licensing programs for a variety of clients such as Diageo, Godiva, Taco Bell & The Met. An accomplished lawyer experienced in assisting and guiding young entrepreneurs and established companies in achieving their goals, she has advised on legal and regulatory matters relating to corporate governance, outside investments, business operations and strategy, as well as navigating the business ramifications of COVID-19 including PPP and force majeure. Ms. Schivek has engaged in negotiations with client counterparties to expeditiously execute all manner of commercial contracts and service agreements. She has worked with large multinational corporations in successfully integrating their operations within North America and licensing their brands, including the engagement of national and international vendors through standardized agreements. She has analyzed the operations of many international brands including corporate transactions and governance, reviewed risks and implemented procedures to ensure compliance.
Ms. Schivek also has experience working with matrimonial clients, drafting separation and divorce agreements, as well as pre-nups and post-nups. She has counseled clients on the impact the agreement will have on finances, and their obligations to the Federal and New York taxing authorities. She has worked with clients and the Internal Revenue Service to help resolve client tax controversies, create payment plans, and execute offers in compromise.
Danielle Schivek is the Founder of Fashionigma, an online journal commenting on fashion, fashion culture and fashion commentary. She is a contributing author to the New York Law Journal having penned the articles “The Rewritten Rules of Power Dressing,” September 20, 2017 and “FTC Cracks Down on Influencer Advertising On Social Media,” September 12, 2016. Ms. Schivek was featured in the ABA Journal article “Fashion Design…Lawyers Style Evolves To Reflect Personality and Tradition,” February 2018. A member of the Alumni Board of Directors of the YMA, Ms. Schivek is Assistant Events Director of iLaw, Inc. and is Associate Moderator of the iLaw listserv.
Admitted to the New York State Bar Association, Ms. Schivek is a former recipient of the Fashion Scholarship Fund, and is a former Board Member of the FSF Alumni Board of Directors.
