Managing Member Jose Anibal Baez, Esq. began his career with one of the largest law firms in the country handling complex litigation in both Federal and State courts throughout the United States. Since the founding of the Baez Legal Group in 2002, Mr. Baez has been representing victims of personal injuries in a variety of situations, finding unique solutions tailored to each of their specific needs.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Mr. Baez is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law and has his Masters (LLM) in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown. A graduate of the Trial Lawyers College, he has clerked for the Honorable Theodore McMillian at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, was a Visiting Scholar at New York University School of Law and a Fellow at the school’s Institute for Judicial Administration. Mr. Baez has also been a guest lecturer at St. Louis University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Eighth and Eleventh Circuits, and the US District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts.
Jose Anibal Baez is a member of the American Bar Association, the NYS Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of the Bar City of NY, the American Association for Justice, the Association of Trial Lawyers, the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Academy of Truck Accident Lawyers.
